Third BRICS Network University Summer School in Economics “Macroeconomics and Business in BRICS Countries” 2022 took place
The School on Macroeconomics and Business in the BRICS countries was held from July 10 to 18 online.
The organizers of the school were Business School of Beijing Normal University, the School of Economics of Henan University – both universities are members of the NU BRICS thematic group on Economics – and the School of Economics and Trade of Hunan University.
The speakers were leading economists from the universities in China, Japan, France, the USA and Australia. Throughout the school, students studied issues of interaction in the field of economics and technology in the BRICS countries, economics, business, urbanization and other issues of the development of modern China.
A total of 84 students from 13 countries and 23 universities were invited to participate. Russia was represented by students from the Higher School of Economics, RUDN University, UrFU, Tomsk State University, St. Petersburg State University, MGIMO University, MSU and Bryansk State University.
Traditionally, a cultural evening was held at the school, where students shared various cultural characteristics of their countries and regions.
Following the results of the school, the defense of seven group projects took place, on which the participants worked all school.
